Mumbai is very well endowed with some significant coffee shops/restaurants that are more polite than a diner and less formal than a linen napkin restaurant. It has some great places to eat breakfast. I am a complete morning person who loves to get out of bed and go for a good healthy breakfast.
I am sure you must have heard about poetry by love and cheesecake. A cute, small, pink and white coloured cafe, which has very cozy and warm vibes to give. This cafe has 4 branches in Mumbai, Juhu, Fort, Bandra and Lower parel. I visited their Linking road Branch in Bandra and thus blog would be about that branch.

It is very well known for its spongy cheesecakes, however, the menu of the cafe-patisserie hybrid is wide enough to serve soups, salads, sandwiches, waffles, pancakes and smoothies as well.

I had ordered a complete English breakfast that included Seasonal Sliced Fruits, Freshly baked Croissant, a Muffin, a plate of Marmalade, herb butter and creme cheese, chicken sausages, baked beans, hash-brown mushrooms and two eggs with some freshly squeezed watermelon juice. I was surprised by just how tasty the eggs were on their own, scrambled to a perfect consistency and complementing the beans very well. The croissant was freshly baked and buttery. I am a complete fan of watermelon juices so I know what is a perfect watermelon juice and I can safely say that this juice did not disappoint me.

I’ll have to return here one day for more perspective on the menu as I only had my one entree but I tried their cheesecake on my way back home. I ordered a New York style cheesecake. I must say the cake was smooth and rich, heavy and yet so easy to swallow. It will just melt in your mouth and leaves you longing for just one more bite. It is not too sweet, just the right amount.

I definitely recommend this cafe. It is not over priced and the food is totally worth it. The ambience will soothe your morning and give you enough space to take your mind off and enjoy the food. Staff is very hospitable, quick and polite. The location is prime and also very well connected so it won’t be a problem for you to locate.
